"I find the more I find out, the more I need to find out."

If your family is anything like mine, we have individual books for each line 
of the family.  My goal was to move all that family information onto a digital 
format so it's all in one place and easily accessible by anyone interested in 
our genealogy.  I've had assistence from a great many "cousins" and I 
appreciate all the genealogy work done before me.  I especially want to 
recognize Charles "Chuck" Albert Davis, Jr., my grandfather.  I'm eternally 
grateful for all the family information he recorded and collected. 

The Baker branch of the family emigrated from Cornwall, England in 1847, 
settling in Ontario, Canada.  The Eyer branch emigrated from Pennsylvania, 
USA in the very early 1800's into Ontario, Canada. Both branches eventually 
headed west and immigrated into Washington, USA in the early 1900's.  The 
Davis branch emigrated from Virginia into Tennessee in the early 1800's.  My 
branch of the Davis' left Powell Valley, Claiborne County, Tennessee in 1834.  
They spent 1 1/2 years in western Illinois and then headed for Iowa.  They 
emigrated from Iowa in 1852 with 30+ family members along the Oregon Trail.  
Most settled in Oregon on Donation Land Claims. The McFaddin branch left 
Virginia in the early 1800's and settled in Brown County, Ohio for a time.  
They continued west into Pike County, Illinois by the mid-1800's, and finally 
into Washington in the early 1900's.  Check out the name index below to see
